In a town from Transylvania and from the center of Romania, Brasov, in 1961 was found "Toró Optik ", by Toró Mózes, at that time the president of the firm. The first shop was opened in the Baritiu street and functioned for 2 years there. After this period, the shop moved to Republicii street no. 32, where it stands up to the present. This little shop gave birth to the actual Toro Optic, with 9 stores across the country. This made possible from the work of two people, Toró Mózes and his wife, Toró Piroska.

Our polishing workshop is in the firm's residence from the beginning. It was, probably the first polishing workshop from Transylvania, where optical lenses (eyewear lenses) was manufactured after recipes.
In 1992 the firm's head manager become Gábor Imre who found the actual "Toro Optic Co.Ltd.". Since then, the company grows rapidly and is adapting to the customer's needs. In accordance to the market's requirements, Toro Optic works together with worldwide known companies like ZEISS, HOYA, BAUSCH & LOMB, etc.
From 1999 Toro Optic started to commercialize hearing aids, beeing the single firm from Brasov's region who made possible for his clients the easier obtaining of this devices.
